Behind the Scenes | Autumn in The Cotswolds
The vision for our Autumn 2025 collection was clear from the start: to capture the very essence of an autumn in The Cotswolds. We wanted our customers to feel a sense of excitement, to be ready to swap their summer wardrobes for the cosy layers and rich textures of the new season. This collection was particularly special, marking the return of our Heritage Collection, with pieces meticulously designed and crafted right here in Great Britain.
We knew a location in the Cotswolds would be the perfect fit, not only complementing our brand name but also telling a story about the craftsmanship and timeless style woven into every garment.
The Quest for the Perfect Cotswold Setting
Our search was thorough, driven by a need to find a location that would harmonise with our collection's textures and palettes while being versatile enough to handle the unpredictable English weather. Both the interior and exterior had to be perfect, ensuring our photography felt authentic and welcoming. We needed a place that truly embodied the idyllic Cotswold autumn we know and love.
A Match Made in Heaven: Finding Langley House
And then we found it: Langley House, Chippenham. This stunning, listed Georgian manor house, set within 100 acres of breathtaking gardens and woodland, was exactly what we had been dreaming of. From its classic architecture to the extensive grounds, it was a match made in heaven.
What truly sold us on Langley House were in fact the grounds. Beyond the elegant Georgian architecture, we discovered a world of classic Cotswold walled gardens, charming paths leading to secret spots, and endless pockets of greenery. Each outfit from our collection found its perfect setting, whether it was a charming barn or a doorway bordered with lavender. The variety was limitless, and every photograph told a unique story.
As we drove up the private driveway to meet our team, the grandeur of the house was remarkable for those who has not yet visited. Its timeless Cotswold stone and dozens of Georgian windows made it look like something pulled straight from a postcard. We were ready to capture our autumnal vision.
Behind the Scenes: A Day at Langley House
Knits in the Heat: The Ultimate Photoshoot Challenge
There was just one catch. The forecast had other ideas, greeting us with a scorching 30-degree Celsius heatwave! We're still in awe of our incredible models, who somehow managed to look wonderfully comfortable in heavy knitted jumpers, scarves, and thick quilted coats. Dressed head to toe in autumn wear on a day made for linen and shade, they were absolute pros.

A huge thank you goes out to our entire shoot team for their adaptability. They worked tirelessly, using sunlight blockers and providing plenty of extra water to ensure our clothing was captured in a way that looked convincing and cosy, as if it were a crisp September morning.
My Personal Lens: Exploring Langley's Hidden Gems
While the team was busy preparing, I couldn't resist slipping away with my camera to capture some of the hidden gems of Langley House. I discovered old buildings, weeping willows providing shady spots by the pond, and flowers trailing perfectly along stone walls. Statues of dogs, beautifully carved from Cotswold stone, dotted the gardens, and there were countless chairs and tables offering a place to relax and take in the beauty of it all. It was a truly magical location.
Your Guide to Cotswold-Ready Outfits
